Medical note for work / university / courses

A medical note may be required for work, university, adult courses, a consulate, embassy, public authority, insurance company, or another organization.

During the online consultation, the doctor will clarify the purpose of the document, assess your condition, ask the necessary medical questions, and prepare the medical note in Portuguese or English if there are sufficient medical grounds.

When is this service suitable?

• You need to confirm absence from work, university, or courses due to illness.
• You need a medical note for temporary incapacity.
• You need a document for a university, adult course, or another educational institution.
• A consulate, embassy, public authority, or organization requested a medical certificate.
• You need to confirm your health status, previous illness, medical limitations, or doctor’s recommendations.
• You have a template or specific requirements from the receiving organization.

What is included?

• Online consultation with a doctor for up to 30 minutes.
• Medical assessment and collection of relevant health information.
• Review of provided documents, if available.
• Preparation of a medical note, certificate, or statement if there are sufficient medical grounds.

Important

The document is issued only after a consultation with a doctor. NovoDoc does not issue medical notes retrospectively and does not include inaccurate information in medical documents.

This medical note does not replace an official sick leave certificate CIT / Baixa médica and is not suitable for social security compensation. The maximum period for a temporary incapacity note is up to 5 days.

NovoDoc can prepare a document based on a doctor’s assessment, but cannot guarantee that a specific organization will accept it, as requirements may vary.
