Welcome to the NovoDoc.eu website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), operated by Blessedcredibility Unipessoal Lda. (NIPC: 518468437) (hereinafter “We”, “Our Company”, or the “Service Provider”).
1. General Provisions
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By using our Website and telemedicine services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services.
1.2 Definitions
“Telemedicine Services” — medical consultations provided remotely using information and communication technologies.
“Patient” or “User” — an individual using our services.
“Medical Professional” — a licensed physician providing telemedicine services.
2. Description of Services
2.1 Telemedicine Consultations
We provide telemedicine consultation services, including:
- Initial medical consultations
- Follow-up consultations
- Consultations based on test results
- Issuance of medical reports (within the capabilities of telemedicine)
2.2 Service Limitations
Our services do NOT include:
- Emergency medical assistance
- Surgical interventions
- Physical examinations requiring in-person presence
- Treatment of conditions requiring immediate medical intervention
2.3 Technical Requirements
To use our services, you need:
- A stable internet connection
- A device with a camera and microphone
- A modern web browser or mobile application
3. User Requirements
3.1 Age Restrictions
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- Minors may use the services only with consent from parents or legal guardians.
3.2 Medical Information
The User agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical information
- Notify us of any changes in health status
- Report all medications and allergies
3.3 Technical Competence
The User must have basic digital skills to participate in telemedicine consultations.
4. Service Provider Obligations
4.1 Professional Standards
We guarantee that:
- All medical professionals hold valid licenses
- Medical confidentiality is ensured through encryption of names and other identifying data
- Consultations are conducted in accordance with professional standards
4.2 Platform Availability
We strive to provide:
- Platform availability 24/7 (except during maintenance)
- Notifications of scheduled maintenance
- Technical support for users
4.3 Confidentiality
In accordance with the Medical Ethics Regulation (Regulamento 707/2016), we ensure the preservation of the doctor–patient relationship, independence of medical judgment, and confidentiality.
5. User Obligations
5.1 Proper Use
The User agrees to:
- Use the services solely for medical purposes
- Not abuse the system
- Respect the confidentiality of other users
- Not interfere with the technical platform
5.2 Prohibited Actions
Strictly prohibited:
- Providing false medical information
- Attempting to hack or compromise platform security
- Using the services for illegal purposes
- Sharing account access with third parties
5.3 Compliance with Law
Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws of Portugal and their country of residence.
6. Limitations of Telemedicine
6.1 Diagnostic Limitations
Physicians use telemedicine only when the system and user ensure medical confidentiality, and when the physician has sufficient knowledge of the patient’s clinical situation.
6.2 Emergency Situations
In a medical emergency:
- Contact emergency services immediately (112 in Portugal)
- Do not rely on telemedicine consultations
6.3 Need for In-Person Examination
A physician may recommend an in-person consultation if:
- Telemedicine consultation is insufficient to establish a diagnosis
- A physical examination is required
- The patient’s condition requires immediate medical intervention
7. Rules for Amending Medical Documents and Reports
7.1 Accurate Personal Information
We ask users to enter personal information carefully during registration. If the “Patient”/“User” requests corrections to an already issued document (incorrect apartment number, different name, different type of examination in a referral, etc.), this is the responsibility of the patient.
7.2 Review Period
After receiving the documents, the Patient/User has 24 hours to review the completed work. If no objections are submitted within 24 hours, the service is considered completed.
7.3 Right to Decline Changes
The “Medical Professional” may decline requests to modify or add information to an already issued document. Changes may be made only by ordering a new service.
8. Rules for Cancellation / Rescheduling / Refunds
8.1 General Provisions
- When booking a consultation (or other medical service) with prepayment, the Patient/User confirms that they have read the cancellation and refund policy.
- After payment, the service is considered booked.
8.2 Rescheduling
- The Patient/User may reschedule the consultation once without fees, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
- Rescheduling is possible only after confirmation of the new date/time by the administrator or medical professional.
- If rescheduling occurs due to the Medical Professional or technical issues, the Patient/User may choose a new date or receive a full refund.
8.3 Cancellation by the Patient/User
- Cancellation at least 24 hours before the consultation — full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before — 50% refund.
- No-show without notice — one-time rescheduling or a 50% refund (50% retained as an administrative fee).
8.4 Repeated No-Shows / Repeated Rescheduling
- If the consultation has already been rescheduled once, a second rescheduling is not allowed.
- Repeated no-show or late cancellation results in the service being considered completed with no refund.
8.5 Cancellation by the Medical Professional / Service
- If the Medical Professional or service cancels the consultation, the Patient/User will be notified as early as possible.
- In such cases, the Patient/User may choose:
a) rescheduling at no extra cost, or
b) a full refund.
8.6 Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued via the same payment method used initially.
- If the refund is not requested within 5 business days, the administration will contact the patient via email.
8.7 Special Rules for Prescriptions, Renewals, Screenings, etc.
- Services involving prescription renewals, referrals, screenings begin immediately after payment; cancellation after processing begins is not possible.
- For consultations aimed at obtaining a prescription/certificate, the same rules as regular consultations apply.
9. Personal Data Protection
9.1 GDPR Compliance
Personal data is processed in accordance with:
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Portuguese Law Lei n.º 58/2019
- Our Privacy Policy
9.2 Medical Data
Medical data is processed in accordance with Portuguese health data legislation (Lei n.º 12/2005).
9.3 User Rights

10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Copyright
All materials on the Website (texts, images, design, software) are protected by copyright and belong to Blessedcredibility Unipessoal Lda.
10.2 Permitted Use
Users may:
- View content for personal use
- Make copies for personal purposes
10.3 Prohibited Use
Without written permission, it is prohibited to:
- Use materials for commercial purposes
- Reproduce or distribute content
- Modify or alter materials
11. Liability and Warranties
11.1 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Technical failures beyond our control
- Incorrect use of the platform by the user
- Force majeure events
11.2 Medical Liability
- Physicians are professionally responsible for the medical services they provide.
- We maintain appropriate professional liability insurance.
- The patient is responsible for following medical recommendations.
11.3 Disclaimer of Guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted operation of the technical platform
- Specific medical outcomes
- Compatibility with all devices and browsers
12. Termination of Service Use
12.1 Termination by User
The User may stop using the services at any time by notifying us via email.
12.2 Termination by Service Provider
We may terminate service provision in cases of:
- Violation of these Terms by the User
- Inability to continue providing safe services
- Changes in legal requirements
12.3 Consequences of Termination
Upon termination:
- User access to the platform will be disabled
- Medical data will be stored according to legal requirements
- Unused payments will be refunded proportionally
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
13.2 Pre-litigation Resolution
Before filing a lawsuit, both parties must attempt to resolve the dispute through negotiation.
13.3 Jurisdiction
Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Portugal.
13.4 Mediation
Parties may use alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation.
14. Changes to the Terms
14.1 Right to Amend
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
14.2 Notification of Changes
Users will be notified of significant changes:
- By posting a notice on the Website at least 30 days in advance
- By email notification
14.3 Acceptance of Changes
Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Technical Requirements and Availability
15.1 System Requirements
For optimal service use, we recommend:
- Internet speed of at least 2 Mbps
- A modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- A webcam with at least 720p resolution
- A microphone and speakers/headphones
